This course focuses on universal tools for the cross-domain analysis of dynamic systems. System theory describes the behaviour of complex dynamic systems using differential or difference equations. A dynamic system model describes any process, such as mechanical
aerospace, electrical, biomedical and chemical systems) with quantities which change over time. These models are then used to analize the dynamic behaviour of the systems, design controllers, optimize costs, improve safety and increase efficiency.

This course will cover the following content:

- Universal model representations
- Linearity, causality and time-invariance
- Controllability and Observability
- Frequency response
- State stability and input-output stability
- Full state feedback controller
- State observers
