Der von Prof. Klaus Jöns koordinierte Antrag "Photonic Quantum Systems Network (PhoQSNET)" im Rahmen einer DFG Großgeräteinitiative wird gefördert. Das Ziel von PhoQSNet besteht darin, eine Forschungsinfrastruktur für die Quantenkommunikation in einer realen städtischen Umgebung zu verwirklichen. Das Fachgebiet Theoretische Elektrotechnik ist als Mitantragsteller beteiligt (ebenso das Fachgebiet Schaltungstechnik von Prof. Scheytt).

The special reseach area 'TRR 142', funded by the DFG (German research associaiton), concentrates on the development of non-linear photonic, by means of innovative concepts of quantum optics, coherent optics, ultra-rapid optoelectronics and solid-state physics, has been prolonged, again.
